I revisited Babu's incredible retro game shop and went deeper into his story and his unseen game collection in his childhood home. I also stumbled upon many PS2 games that were made in India!

I found many retro consoles, including Sega Nomad, Dreamcast Karaoke, Super Nintendo, and many more! Plus, a massive collection of games that were made in India during the PlayStation 2 era, including Hanuman: The Boy Warrior, Desi Adda: Games of India, Don 2: The Game, RA.One: The Game, and Cart Kings.

Babu's Video Games (बाबू वीडियो गेम्स) is located in the beautiful and chilled-out city of Pune, India. Pune is a sprawling city in the western state of Maharashtra, known for its rich history, vibrant culture, and beautiful architecture. It is also a hub of education and technology, making it a popular destination for students and professionals.

Babu is so down to earth! He should have mentioned how we helped people in our community! I am one of those children who always hanged out in Babu's place and help him in their store. My parents were not able to afford school for me. Babu was so kind to help me finish my study by paying for some of my school fees in exchange of assisting him. Now, I am an engineer working in Canada! It would have not been possible if not for Babu's help. He helps but never really mention it. He is pure of heart! If you can, visit Babu and meet this amazing person!

Sold my ps4 and got a brand new ps5 from Babu last month. He was the only person who would cut me a deal. Absolute legend for all gamers 🎉

What Babu said is really true. When we were young, we had no financial worries or any career worries. I remember i spent so many countless hours in my local gaming parlor playing ps2 games. Wrestling games were really fun playing with strangers and friends alike. Now that we have grown up and found ourselves on different career paths and have responsibilities, sometimes at night i recall my childhood memories and it really makes me sad for a moment. But that's life, you have to move on. But gaming has always been by my side till now. Still a hardcore gamer even in my late years.

Thanks for these videos Karl, I’m a massive video game enthusiast and seeing somewhere on the other side of the world where the industry probably isn’t as big a territory for video game companies, seeing someone like Babu and his huge collection is super interesting.

I live in a small town called Nagpur growing up in the 90s. The companies like Sony and Xbox had not penetrated the market deeply enough to reach small towns like mine. Small gaming shops like babu’s were the ones that made big title games accessible to kids from towns like ours as an adult, now, I feel so thankful that these shops and their owners cater to children and their interests back in those days, making our childhood way, more fun at a very little cost and creating a brigade of gamers that can handover the torch of gaming to the next generationthank you Baabu and many other gamer uncles across India for making gaming possible for the 90s, Indian kids.

Babu is an amazing human being! I am happy to have played in games with him when I was just a young boy! Growing up in their store was definitely worth it! I miss Babu and I am glad he is doing well even his papa. I migrated in Canada already, but growing up with Babu and their store is a story I will forever treasure to myself and my children! Thank you for having this video! I can't believe it got suggested to me in YouTube!

I love this guy... and remember him from your past videos carl. It really is amazing to see people like this still thriving and doing well. Especially nowadays where small business /small retail shops are virtually non existent. I truly hope for this man's continued success.

Every now and again I find a Gem on youtube, it could be from a creator I've never seen before or one I regularly visit. It's awesome to see you back home and back to your old self Karl! I love coming across videos where it shows someone exactly where they should be in the world and this is the best. What a man, we had a stall like this as a child in the back of a local market but unfortunately the owner passed but she was a lovely woman.

What a lovely story. Babu is like a character straight out of a movie. He's a businessman, yet he has probably brought joy and wonderful memories to countless people, especially children. The world needs more people like Babu.

Babu might not even be aware how much a game enthusiast will give to have some of the games in collection! His collection is worth millions!
