Okay but can we talk for a second about how both Matt and Steph are two of the most grounded, well-rounded, emotionally mature and secure people I've ever seen?! It's crazy how humanizing these interviews are. It's probably been close to a decade since I last heard MatPat's voice. And yet this is probably one of the more captivating videos I've watched in a long time.
Stephanie is completely new to me, and they are such an engaging speaker.

1:38:40 I love how Steph talks about channels mimicking their thumbnails as friendly support, community, and shared visual language. A "dialogue"! There isn't competition, jealousy, or threat here. I feel like I never hear people talk like this. Steph acknowledges their inspiration and research, and then isn't quick to defend what she creates as uniquely hers. It's a part of a public discourse and she welcomes that. So cool! I've only seen a handful of Theory videos and I've never seen anything with Steph before, but I'm hugely impressed by her! Like genius business brain there.

Itâs kinda like Doctor Who, MatPat is just regenerating into a new presenter for the channels, each with their own spin on the show! It is the end of a huge chapter in YouTube, but itâs also the start of a new one.
