6:12 When you offer up your home to a complete stranger, take them on a tour, invite them into your family and have them over to celebrations, only to say in despair: âI want to be a good person.â That line really hit hard. To have that much evidence that your heart is filled with kindness and you have so much to good to offer the world, yet somehow convinced that the world would be better off if you were never born. Thatâs the real difference between sadness and depression, at least to me anyway.

As someone who struggles with seasonal depression, I can see why people who live in cold and dark places may feel a lot more depressed than others. Even when I feel absolutely awful, standing outside in the sun has always helped, even if just a tiny bit. I can't imagine what it's like to live in such a secluded and dark area

theres such a sad energy coming from the whole town, you can tell how it's a constant cycle. being that the population is so small, probably every single person that inhabits it knows at least one person who has committed suicide :( they continue despite carrying that grief, i cant even imagine the guilt of wanting to move away but cant because your whole family lives there, or you know someone who's died there and you don't want to leave them be. It may be a beautiful place, but it carries such sad stories

"Just talk about feelings." It sounds so simple but it is actually the root of a lot of male depression. Talking about your feelings isn't weak and it isn't pathetic. It's actually one of the hardest things you can do. It takes balls to be able to open up and speak about how you feel.
If you feel lonely, or if you are feeling like you don't matter, do what Vittus has done and find a way to talk about how you're feeling, you'll be amazed how much you have to share.

I saw this vlog several months back. The pain and depression of this person has been kind of permanently etched in my mind. Every once in a while his words pop-up in my mind. I just want to say to the people living in such harsh conditions especially the person in the video that sir you are not alone. You have now a new friend thanks to this young vlogger. I can't do much but I request you to please never forget that people like me are with you in your journey of life. God bless everyone. Keep fighting. You are a hero.
