Iā€™m almost 75. A younger woman turned me onto them in the 80ā€™s. This is the only album you need. I listened to it over and over on my headphones while doing a painting job. Exceptional!!!

Almost all of my fave Cure songs are on this album. Hardcore fans will know that there are different versions on vinyl, cassette, and CD. One of my top 10 albums ever.

I was 16 years old in 1987 and hanging out with some college chicks, at Lynchburg College in Virginia they put this video on for me while they got dressed. I was instantly in love.

I have followed" The Cure" ever since they come on the scene in the early 80's and they have just gotten better with age,"Pornography"was one of their more memorable albums. Regards, Doug Hughes Williamstown Australia :hand-purple-blue-peace:

My girlfriend introduced me to The Cure in 1992 .. I went out to an op shop and found this on cassette with the unavailable B sides.. I still have it and it inspired me to collect. Great memories

The sound of my youth! I had it on cassette and played it more times than anything else. Later I bought the version with the B-sides.

Ive been a cure fan for 4 decades and I don't plan to stop fanning out singing along playing along playing songs for the people I love on singing along in public when the more popular radio songs come one. Being turned on to this band in my youth lead to a fantastic and fulfilling life with many great adventures with most of this music pumped into my ears in so many different methods I've lost count. So many different situations that the stories would be cliche. it cant be understated just how very important this band from across the pond is. I mean Jumping Someone Elses Train Distant Vioces he plated rythum for Suxsie and the Banshiees. I cut my guitar playing teeth on this album in the early 2000's. Ive fallen in love broike up sang to my children cousins friends many many many fun and terrible moments colored and woven by these songs and this band. The Cure man don't make me feel shit year 40.

Happy memories of my teen years. My best friend and I listened to this repeatedly (on vinyl), especially Charlotte Sometimes. Thank you for taking me on a stroll down memory lane.

My younger brother would always listen to DM, Red Fag, The Cure, New Order, Joy Division, Talk Talk and I was more of a Metal guy (JP, Iron Maiden, Metal Church, Metallica, Overkill, Testament). So when he would play "his" music, I secretly liked it and to my surprise, so did most of my friends. We would watch the "Standing On A Beach" video on VHS over and over. It is part of my young adult life and wouldn't trade it for anything.
