Fun fact: Martina is not using an uchiwa, she's using a sensu! Both are words for small fans that you hold, but a sensu is specifically for ones you fold. An uchiwa is the traditional rounded kind that stays flat the whole time.

Finally made it to Japan for my study abroad semester, and we had about a week to explore before classes start (tomorrow). At first we were trying to go to shrines, and castles and temples and it was SO HUMID (I knew it could get humid, but wasnt expecting swear rivers😅) But today we went to the Kyoto Aquarium and the air conditioning made all the difference!
