A brief retrospective look at Assassin's Creed: Revelations - the last of the original saga of Assassin's Creed games to star fan-favorite Ezio Auditore da Firenze. Players embark on a journey across Constantinople to locate a series of unique keys, necessary to gain access to a lost Assassin's Library.

šŸ‡®šŸ‡³šŸ™This game makes me feel warm inside to this day. Being old as Ezio, wandering in Istanbul far far away from his home... Finding new ally's, the freeroam music, going back to masyaf, the theme song, the grey-ish Blu kinda treatment to animus's UI indicating safe mode than the usual white. It truly felt like a finale. I remember finally waiting for desminds story to end with ac3 and how that game felt like 10x improved to revelations from trailers and gameplay. I wish they ended desmonds and Connors story on a high note and ended the series there. Ah well, maybe then we wouldn't get ac origins and black flag.

11 years wow. That was an era and I'm happy to have been alive to witness it first hand. Assassin's creed holds a special place in my heart as it AC2 was my first next gen game (next gen at the time).

To me this was the last Assassin's Creed game. I loved it. The library scenes is one of the best in the series.

I just played it earlier this month, via the Ezio Collection on PS4. Completed everything there is to complete, main missions, side missions, challenges, recruitments, all the way to the platinum trophy. It was a great ride from start to finish. Ironically, just before I started playing it, I was on vacation in Turkey, since Constantinople is located in modern-day Istanbul.

The Ezio collection were a big part of my teenage gaming years. I love history and seeing those places explored for the first time was truly an experience. My favorite one has to be revelations, the game wasnā€™t perfect but it was so good. The grand finale to Ezioā€™s life, and finality to Altairā€™s legacy.

My favorite Ac game of all time love and adore this game atmosphere, soundtrack and setting. The peak of franchise in this series with first 4 games. The story by far best in the series

The Ezio Trilogy was one of the best games i played in my Life. Gameplay and Graphics still hold up to this Day and leaves alot of modern Games in the Dust.

this game had the best story out of all the AC Games. The way Ezio, Altair and Desmond's stories all weaved into each other was perfect

I love the older-style AC gameplay. Despite the vastness of modern entries, I felt much more connected to the world in the early days. And Ezio as a protagonist is just one of the best in gaming. So good to see a satisfying ending to a story.

Revelations really did wrap up pretty much everything in a nice bow after replaying it again. 3, Black Flag and onward feel more like fun spinoffs than actual stories leading to an eventual conclusion.

To this day, the Ezio journey was one of a kind. If not the only one. You see Ezio's life as a whole trough 3 games and 1 animated movie. Great stuff. Haaaa when AC was great back then (best one is still brotherhood). When it wasn't about fighting groups of 20 ennemies, with you having super strength or magical blades/arrows. When stealth wasn't only "crouching". The focus was also on the city(ies) itself and not randomised generated 60km of empty landmasses. They should remake one day the Ezio trilogy. A true remake current tech. My god Fiorenze and Rome would look insane !

How interesting that on the same day this video shows up I bought the Assassinā€™s Creed Revelations outfit! When playing at the beginning, I remember feeling as old as Ezio himself. It was such a journey!
