Corrections: -the rolling cloud shadows ARE in ACMirage. Spotted them down in the southern "palm grove" area of the map and they seem to function the same as valhalla. Could be they are limited to certain areas of the map OR are randomly triggered depending on the game's randomized weather effects.

I'd actually love to see a comparison between Origin and Mirage since those take place in a very similar environment

As much as recent ubisoft games have many flaws and questionable decisions, I feel like their art direction team and specially the guys responsible for their environments, concept artists, 3D artists, etc, really hit the nail on making really interesting and pretty environments

One of the best game sequel comparisons I have ever seen. Going into graphics detail to feature details, explaining the macro and micro. Usually, these side-by-side graphic comparisons on YouTube that just run for a few minutes don't make any sense and you can't get a good eye on what exactly is changed. There are also hardly any explanations on the feature differentce. Very good job, Nick930. I really appreciate your work on this video and will be looking out for more of your content.

Valhalla is such a great game, especially to get a nordic experience, but not as an AC game.

Really enjoyed Odyssey, Valhalla, and Origins with all the history and myths in these three great cultures, I’m all for similar trilogy that takes place in the east. And yes I played Ghost of Tsushima 🤩

I'm really enjoying Mirage! Yeah it would be nice to get even closer to the older games, but I really like what they did with this game, and hopefully it shows the devs that the fans wants more of this style.

Man I would like to see a future where we get an Assassin's Creed game which combines great storytelling with sick parkour and stealth, a new trilogy that would end the series with a bang.

There's usually less clouds in the desert, which would explain the removal of cloud shadows

While Outfits are mostly cosmetic, they do still retain some stats (defense) and an associated perk (more silent assassinations, more Assassin Focus per kill, etc) which you can upgrade. You do get Costumes, which are cosmetic only though.
