Diva rule #1: make your minions dance--you focus on the cameras and your vocals.

Fun fact: Vicky Leandros, Luxembourg's only non-French Eurovision winner, was Greek, and her win came two years before Greece itself debuted in Eurovision in 1974.

San Marino with a Spanish band singing in Spanish watching this like 👀. But in all seriousness, I loved your discussion about the song, itself. Good video, as usual. This was just the right amount of overthinking.

These are the voyages of Overthinking Eurovision. Its continuing mission: to explore strange new songs; to seek out new artists and new trivia; to boldly go where no one has gone before!

14:56 You think you're familiar with someone, and then ten years later you're confronted with a side of Matt's face you've never seen before.

Living in Luxembourg was like being embraced by a warm, rich hug of good governance and green fields. Such a lovely place. Glad they are back ❤️ Tali is great!

The closest to having a Luxembourgish in their wins was Pierre Cao, the conductor of the Orchestra in 1973

As somebody who lives close to Luxembourg, would like to add another contributing reason as to why Luxembourg may have decided to come back: Luxembourgish people (and those from across the borders) go to concerts of Eurovision contestants. Mahmood, Hooverphonic, Duncan Laurance, Salvador Sobral... Plus, they seem to actually watch Eurovision. I haven't talked to too many, but for a country that didn't participate for 30 years, I've come across surprisingly many (young) people who watch it.

This video is so good. Honestly so well done and researched. I enjoyed this a lot. I ended up watching it twice in a row.

4:39 I was lucky enought to be there, on that day, to watch and cheer for Tali. I had no favorites, I hadn't even heard or knew about any of the contestants prior to that day, my wife did, and she was the one that suggested that we should try and go, to attend the finals, since it would happen right when we were spending part of our vacations in the country, and we would be staying very near Rockhal, the venue where the finals happened. After listening all 8, Tali, the last one to perform, was the one I liked most 😁
