I used to have an autistic friend who lived in Australia. His name was Lou. His life... Was a living hell for him. His parents didn't used to support him in any kind of way, but he had a little sister who used to love him, and his older brother... Lou didn't know, but he was his older brother adoration. His older brother told me many times how much he loved him. But Lou was feeling very overwhelmed with all the things happening in his life. I used to be his safe zone, his comfort, and his support, but he couldn't take it anymore with his school bullies (which I once made a letter for the principal of the school and Lou showed them) and his family. He turned into a beautiful star in October 1st, 2023, by his own hand. I felt an immense pain, a pain that I never felt before. His older brother got so bad, he never ate again, he used to stay awake the whole night crying, and the little girl of the family kept asking for Lou and where did he go. I'm still trying to recover from his death, but I can't. His brother ended up being anemic, and a little while after he recovered from anemia, diabetic. Lou's family is now changing, for the younger sister who's now diagnosed with OCD and Autism. And now, I was also diagnosed with autism. I wish that Lou is safe and better now. Lou, my sweet boy, this is for you, I know you can't read this anymore, but I want you to know that I love you just as much as I loved you the very first day we met. I'll never have another best friend like you, I'll never have another happiness like I used to have when I was with you. But I miss you and still love you every single day of my life, my sweet, little golden star... 🤍
