I remember reading a chapter book about this in middle school called Fever 1793 by Laurie Halse Anderson. It was pretty good from what I remember

I canât remember how old I was, but I read the historical fiction book Fever 1793 and it sparked my interest in this part of history. So dark when we didnât know about all the ways to help, so many lives lost!

I love these stories of Black History. It gets lost as time goes on. I remember learning of the âYellow Feverâ when I was younger but sure donât remember the heroisms of the Black community that risked their lives and own money to take care of white folkâŚ. Iâll be sure to pass this along to my grandchildren and theirs! Thank you. đ
