As a man in a wheelchair, I found the wheelchair bit funny as hell. MOST of us DO have a sense of humor about our conditions, it HELPS us cope and move forward. If we can't laugh at it, we might as well be dead. We are NOT special or off limits to joke about. NO ONE is. No race, no Religion, no sexual preference and so on. You can make jokes and be respectful or rude, up to the joke teller really but normally that should be what makes you find the joke funny or not, not the topic of the joke. I say we need MORE disabled jokes in the world! Just under 40 years and counting of being paralyzed after a 3 wheeler wreck back in 1984, July 1st marks my 40th year and HUMOR, mostly at my own expense, has seen me thru a lot of it!! So feel free to laugh guilt free!!

My uncle raised animals. So every week he went to grocery store and loaded up all the bread and veggies they were going to throw out. Mixed it with his pig, goat, and other animal feed. Animals stayed healthy weight, he saved on feed costs, stores didn’t attract rats. Everybody happy. That might be what is going on there.

I dated a preachers son once- he was a marine and nowhere near a saint for sure 😳 But he did tell me one time his mama would say, “ If you were truly hungry, you would eat an apple” lol.
