My husband is retired Air Force, and years ago when he was active duty I noticed our next door neighbors on base were always home. They had two young boys at the time, one being a baby. I went over and told them I was going to babysit for free so they could go out and enjoy themselves, and not to worry what time they got home. They so much appreciated what I did and said they really needed that. It was just a small thing for me to do.
