The rant Hasan went about people politically aligning with his views but specifically hating him is so relatable for me. When I was first getting into understanding the left's politics after leaning right a bit too much and then being apolitical, I told myself repeatedly that Hasan was a hypocrite and was not to be taken seriously. But, after watching clips of him, I have come to understand that he is taken out of context a lot. Yet, it still took me a while to get rid of those assumptions. It was only about 3 months ago that I started taking him more seriously.

When I was a cashier, I used to dream almost daily about running a register (as if working at Walmart isn't hell enough....😂) so, while Hasan's job isn't conventional, I think dreaming about your job where you spend so much of the day is completely relatable.

I knew from the start that Hasan was a pretty face, but I didn't think he was attractive until I'd been watching his content for a while and got a sense of his intelligence, his humor, his nerdy side, his compassion for oppressed and marginalized people, etc. Yes he has his flaws and bad takes/off moments, but he's one of my fav and most consistent political YouTubers

Started watching his stuff a little over a year ago. I couldn't stand Hasan when I first started viewing his content. I didn't like what he had to say about cops, white people, America in general. But I kept coming back and watching and actually listening instead of getting angry. Nowadays I really enjoy most of his content and agree with him on pretty much most things.

the dreaming about streaming and argument and stuff like that, it's real when you are deep into your work. I'm currently in school for engineering and I have legit woken up mid sleep because I solved a homework problem in my sleep..... not even joking, I had a problem I was stuck on for literally hours, then I went to bed and it's like in my sleep I talked out the problem and managed to understand it and the revelation woke me up and I went back to doing the problem lol
