It took Johnny "months and months" to find out the FBI was racist in the 60's?

I hate the fact that Johnny clearly made it look like he read the letters from Birmingham Jail and then never mentions the fact that the moderates keep progress halted and make sure that the status quo remains the same - honestly he can do better

The fact that he barely addresses the fact that it was an FBI investigation about the assassination is crazy. He spent 25 minutes explaining how the FBI was trying to kill him, then just accepts their explanation.

Johnny Harris provides a Destiny level look at the history of the FBI, MLK, and the Civil Rights movement. Just what we needed. Someone else pretendting to be educating, while having the intellectual sophistication of a 3rd grader.

I like the FBI "You are a adulterer so black people should stop fighting for their rights" MLK had an iron will to keep going after receiving that roast

I really feel like a lot of this focus on antiviolence is missing a MASSIVE part of Kings rhetoric where yes, he did say non violence a lot, but he also said at the same time that peaceful protests can only go so far and at a certain point violence is sadly the only option... i dont understand why libs leave half of everything MLK said out...

Lenin understood exactly how the ruling class, and thus also the moderates, warp the legacies of revolutionaries to subdue the proletariat. “During the lifetime of great revolutionaries, the oppressing classes constantly hounded them, received their theories with the most savage malice, the most furious hatred and the most unscrupulous campaigns of lies and slander. After their death, attempts are made to convert them into harmless icons, to canonize them, so to say, and to hallow their names to a certain extent for the ‘consolation’ of the oppressed classes and with the object of duping the latter, while at the same time robbing the revolutionary theory of its substance, blunting its revolutionary edge and vulgarizing it.” - Lenin, State & Revolution

i don't really watch hasan live, schedule and preference issues. however as a minority stuck in a republican gutter state, i genuinely appreciate the audience hasan has built. i read through the comments on these clip channels all the time while watching the content, and the comments i see every single video are like a light at the end of a very dark very long tunnel. the youth is changing the landscape of our nation right in front of my tired old eyes. our time is coming my friends love you all.

God, something about him—with his overly dramatic, faux-intellectual delivery—is so unbelievably grating to me. Seems like a nice enough guy but I feel unbearably annoyed whenever I try to watch his vids.

Why’d he have to remind us about that “you are black and you are male” line

the second most important part of the letter from a birmingham jail, is the part where the reverend goes on a long winded lament about an experience he had as a Black father and how in the world he lived in, not too different from today still in many ways, he would have to break his children's hearts by informing them that no, they could not in fact go to the amusement park with their white friends, as they were not allowed because they were Black -- a concept that would not make any sense to a child -- and have to explain painfully that the world fucking hates them for nothing more than the color of their skin. that he would have to explain what the awful words being used against them meant and why they were being used.

every johnny harris video reminds me of all the history videos on the vietnam war and getting everyone to say the war was bad, and that america shouldve worked harder to bring 'democracy' to the north through diplomacy and that 'both sides bad cuz murican soldiers ptsd'
