Ok, so this is 10 minute practice session. Here I go over how to make your way through this concept by practicing over a favorite tune of mine. Showing you how to move fast and change up with pentatonic to use. There are three backing tracks to practice to including FOTD.

Then there is this one... Let's just call it soloing over "Motel West Coast"

THANK YOU! Finally somebody that showed the relations between pentatonic scales and chords. You have no idea, how necessary this video is.

I’ve been a player most of my life. Watched a bunch of instructors on you tube but I have never ever come across someone who could get me inside my head so fast. It’s unbelievable, stitch is a bloody genius. I’m 75 and I am a stitch fan and follower for the remainder, which I hope is a long time! God bless you man!

THIS. This is the key I’ve been missing. I’ve been playing for probably 20 years. I can memorize songs no problem but I always struggled with soloing and improvising. This helps!

Wow, what a fun and easy to follow lesson. Within minutes I've been playing to backing tracks in a different, and maybe more musical, way. Keep up the great work!

Thanks for breaking that down. I've heard people refer to just playing the "box" and didn't realize it's essentially the lower portion of the pentatonic "E" shape.

I’ve been playing for 45 years I would strongly encourage any beginner level guitar players, and combined this lesson with the caged System (they’re pretty much the same thing) It will take longer to learn to shred but the finished product will be well worth it. This is a great lesson.

This is really good! I learned a ton from your video. So many teachers say to use certain scales, modes, etc, but rarely say WHEN to use them. ‘Play the changes!’ And now i have some tools to do it. Thank you!!

Thanks a million. Finally I get it :) It's all come together now. What a relief! Since watching your video I can now play along and improvise beautifully to ALL those old songs I just gave up on in the past. This tutorial is heaven sent. Thank you so very much.

Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! Excellent framework for keeping up and staying within the chord changes. This will help my solos sound more musical and less like I'm practicing a scale!

Hi from London, UK! Firstly, thank you for creating such a simple, easy to follow video. I’ve been playing for 30 years and am super average having never had lessons / dedicated more time to it. I’ve pledged to get better over the coming years using YouTube, and videos like this are so handy - thank you for taking the time to share your knowledge! Finally, keep the beard - Jerry G would no doubt look on admirably. Peace ✌🏼

That was the most helpful thing I’ve ever seen on guitar. Thank you. I’m blown away. It’s like I should have thought of it, so simple. 🙌❤️🤙
