I read where she didn't allow those dying from cancer to have pain medication. That would be horrific

Despite the $millions she received the patients slept on cots, cancer patients in excruciating pain were given nothing but aspirin and a prayer( she also had a policy that patients receive no visitors). When Mother T was sick she was treated in actual hospital incl one in NY. āThe missionary position book by Christopher Hitchens is an excellent book and thoroughly researched!

She refused people treatment telling them that their suffering would bring them closer to god but when she was dying she got flown off to a top medical facility in California. She is despicable.

I met her in person in 1992 in Tijuana as she was recovering from heart troubles at Scripts Institute. I was so nervous and rushed that I was to self conscious to have a picture with her. But I have the memories in my brain.

As a Catholic, I appreciate this video. It's like you mentioned in the beginning, "for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of god." It's incredibly important that we never idolise anyone in history and look at everyone critically. Sadly, this is not done very often for saints.

Iāve read quite a bit of Hitchensā work. Heās a very good and intelligent writer. Sadly, he died of cancer complications in December 2011 at the age of 62.
