I love how this album allows everyone to reflect on a memory that is nostalgic, sad and/or positive. This album is a comfort album to me personally because it reminds me of the fall and all the cinnamon scented things I enjoyed as a child, along with Halloween and foggy, cool nights. This album is a true gift to me and a lot of other people alike.

One of the best albums ever created.
It reminds me so much of when I was kicked out of my family home after my mum assaulted me and I was separated from her by the police. I was driving to my nans in the pouring rain to move there for a while and listened to it the whole way.
Since then I've lived in 3 different flats, had 2 new jobs, 2 new cats and I'm getting married. Life is just crazy man.
Edit: Thank you all for your lovely comments. I’m indeed a married man now to my beautiful wife, but this album still brings me so much peace. Happy new year to you all and god bless you.

Edit: So I wrote this, a day after I broke up with the love of my life. It’s been two weeks since, and while I miss our late night convos, and the way she laughed, and just her presence, I’m slowly getting better. But I do have my moments of tears and shitty feelings but I’m moving.

The amount of really late nights that I have sat with one of my closest friends in a cold and massive electrical Engineering Lab as I tried to study and then the lonely walk down empty Stellenbosch streets back to my Room, both while listening to this album are some of those quiet somber memories I will never forget.
