The color Purple... was a color super dificult to make in medieval times, Constantinopla was in the middle of 2 world , east and west, and the trade was a central part of this city. Such an important place for commerce can get that color easily (in fact Justinian I wore a purple cape) I think the developers wanted to wink with that

Hello everyone! You'll have to excuse the voiceover quality on this one, as I'm currently away from my main setup.
