Shoutout to the person who found out they were colorblind after getting called out for calling their pink supa an akasupa, and sent an apology later after seeing a doctor

Always worth noting that your screen may mess with the colours, so either it can be colour blindness or you need a new screen(or change settings).

Just as an FYI to anyone watching this, colourblindness exists on a gradient, and it is far more common in men than women (the cones in your eyes that detect colour are decided by genes on your X chromosome, which women have two of, so it is much rarer to have bad/missing cone genes on both chromosomes; men only have one X chromosome).

Just don't take a test with Mika, I believe she is colorblind. She also learned that on stream, although she was a lot more smug about it before she realized it.

I had a friend that was red & green colorblind. Years into our friendship and he just drops that bombshell on me one day. Not the fact that he was colorblind mind you, but that there is a form of colorblind where you only don't see specific colors. I had always thought up to that point in my life that colorblind was an all or nothing sort of deal.

partial colorblind is actually pretty common. basically ppl like me cannot see tersier color of certain mix. for me its red-green, i can see primary color just fine like traffic light red yellow green, but once complex colour comes i cannot tell difference like on clothes colour that often varied so much

I remember this dude at work that figured he was colorblind at 27yo when he was asked where he buys clothes with such extreme and cool colors, he thought he was wearing blue jeans except they were fucking playdough green

True story - I had a friend from college that I was working with (digital art/design) and one day he was talking to our boss about the green colour he used when it was gold and found out at the age of 20+ that he infact was truly colour blind lol He got corrective glasses and it was amazing to see his reaction to things like true red and purple - CRAZY STUFF!

To be fair, that level was kind of confusing. It took me a long time of staring at the solution to even figure out that the gradient only applies to the left side of the leaf and that the right side is not important (at least for this solution). If Enna was also focusing on the right side of the leaves, then it makes sense why she didn't see it as a gradient, because it wouldn't be one from that perspective.

My fun colourblind story is the guy at my work wondering why we had to be so on point with colour choices for a web app and finding out he was colourblind in the process. Like, yep, there you go that's why 🀣

She did organize them by color, so I don't think she is really colorblind, I think she just wasn't sure what to do.

I think we hit like 3 stages of grief in her realization of her color-blindness...

I remember standing at one of the bigger train stations in japan, waiting for a train, going over the instructions i had gotten from a friend of which platform, and taking the blue train not the green train that departs from that same platform. While pondering that i remembered the friend that had given me the instructions is green/blue colorblind. ....and there goes my 1 interesting lifes story, my internet career is over.

I remember the launch of the Gamecube being a locus for the subject of "partial colorblindness" coming up when I was a lot younger. Some of my friends swore it was blue, while I saw it as a shade of purple. I think that came up recently with one of the PS5 controllers, as well.

Colorblindness is more common in males, and red-green colorblindness is the most common. Most colorblindness is mild, so you'll mix up colors sometimes, but most of the time it's fine. There are people who see the world in black and white, but this is extremely rare.

"I know like... 5 people who are colorblind" Her grandparents and one of her parents? xD Also, of all the number-based color-blindness-tests I have seen, not even a tenth had number. I think that one was just for trolling. Are they trolling her, too?

fun fact women have a .5% chance of being colorblind compared to men's 8% I believe so in this regard Enna is particularly unlucky

I mean, it doesn't even have to be straight genetic colorblindness or "partial colorblindness." You actually do have an accuracy/ability to judge variations in different hues that varies from person to person.
