I wouldn't say Infinite is "healthy." Although it did go from "critical" condition to "stable," but still hooked up to life support.

Even though 343 seems to be making a pretty impressive turn around it’s still hard to believe there’s been almost no mention of Infection. It’s like if a call of duty launched with no search and destroy

I kinda fell off halo as a whole this year (other external stuff was the main cause, but halo infinite being a let down for me really didn’t help lmao)
So as with a bunch of things, i’m hoping to slowly make my way back into it, and it sounds like things are gonna hopefully be getting better.

I hope things get better. The sonic fanbase had a very similar spot of doom and gloom for 5 years after forces released, but things changed for the better after the movie was released. Speaking of adaptions, I hope one day we can get a sequel to halo legends. Its one of the best video game adaptions and it sucks it never gets any praise because of how poorly it was advertised so most people don't know it exists, It was really ahead of its time, Plus Halo seems to really work well with an anime style hell CE was built off it in conception.

I have similar feelings about the halo 5 menu except I associate it with waiting 10 minutes for the armour to load

People tend to really forget that there is a lot of parts of halo armor that attachments dont change.
Like Mark VII and SPI for example since he decided to say they should share the same core.
MK VII and SPI look inherently differently. The forearm armor, the bicep armor, the chest rig system, the legs, undersuit, everything. Attachments dont change those, those parts all stay the same even if you add a different shoulder pad or slap on a new piece of armor over the chestplate.
Thats why despite the fact cross core attachments are coming, we are still getting new cores. Because their overall asthetic still changes how the additional attachments effect them

New management has already made major improvements, next step is cleaning up the customs browser and getting forge maps into matchmaking. Fun to play the new levels but for some people they really want to work towards challenges too. Id like to see future seasons to include like 10 of the best forge maps created during the previous season, plus a couple 343 maps.

The one complaint that I had with halo 5’a forge, was that there was so many items, I couldn’t even get into it! with this new search tool, it will make things so much easier! this is a very welcome addition to Halo!🙂👍🏻

2023 really needs to hit the mark. 2022 was pretty rough with the dry periods of content, narrative events and the monetization so I hope they make 2023 the “relaunch” of the game.

I am so excited for a new background, I get the same exact feeling of irritation when I see it. Even the first loading menu with the ring, and season 2's loading image gave the same feeling.

I think you really hit the nail on the head with the lack of new content. I saw a reddit comment a few months ago that predicted the same release schedule of "one gun and map every quarter with maybe some extra equipment if we're lucky". it's pretty clear Forge is going to allow the fans to add all the community-favorite maps from Online but it feels dirty for 343 to get the credit for a lot of that.

All I want for MCC is for the rest of the Halo Online maps to be added. As for Infinite…content. Anything at this point.
