In our childhood years, we simply forget the beauty of being young and no worries about things like the future. We make the mistake of dreaming to grow up and watch TV all day and go to bed when we want but when we become teenagers and adults there is so much expected from us. Things we don't worry about when we are children. We remember the memories and tear up and smile to remember. As teenagers we are caught between being a kid and an adult and we are given responsibility but are still reckless with it. Life becomes harder when you grow up. Having kids, getting married, and getting a job are all things that are expected of us. Now, as adults, we would do anything to take back those years of no worries and responsibilities. I wish you all well.

When I was younger I always wanted to be older, I always wanted to be in high school or college. Last year I constantly missed being in 5th grade, and I got really depressed by Christmas time, and now it being a year later, I feel lost. I miss when I was younger, I want to be older and hope it's better. But currently, I'm stuck in a depressed and questionable life, but listening to these just gave me a moment to calm down and feel happy. Great job <3

im gonna go on a little rant / vent here, but i think a lot of people may relate to this, so im saying this so people know that you aren't alone.
im a teenager now, 16, and listening to these songs, on the verge of crying. im not sure if its a good thing or bad thing, but all i can think about is how much i wish i could just rewind time and go back to my pre-teen years when these songs were first coming out and becoming popular. i feel so lost right now. i dont feel like a kid anymore, i dont feel as happy or carefree as i used to be. i mean, ive been through a lot, it would be hard for me to be able to stay that way, right? i think 2018/2019ish was the last year i was truly happy. in the previous years, i had ended a almost ten year friendship with someone, i had lost my cat, been bullied, and started middle school in 2015. but listening to these songs takes me back to that time before all of that happened and even after when i was starting to overcome my depression and i was taking my life back.
so i guess my point is, is that youre not alone even when you think you are. if youre here to listen to songs to feel like a kid again, so am i. and if you ever need someone to talk to, im here. i know i may just seem like a stranger on the internet trying to relate to people, but i almost took my life multiple times before i was even fully a teenager. i dont want others to be in that same spot because i had it easy and almost didnt make it out.
i love you all, and i hope you all have the most amazing lives you could ever imagine. <3
