Love how you actually REACTED to “I wouldn’t marry me either”—I can’t tell you how many reactions I’ve watched where the person just doesn’t even blink at that line and only comments on the followup about people pleasing. I mean, honest reactions are what they are, but how does that line NOT hit like a fist to the solar plexus… I always wonder if they’re even paying attention if they miss that part. >_>;;

React to the whole folklore album. I watched all your Taylor reactions and I could definitely tell you'll love the whole album. It's lyrically driven. Watch the Long Pond Studio Sessions since Taylor briefly discusses each song and I get the feeling that you'll understand my level of goosebumps as I listen to her describe how she writes songs. Her insights are mind blowing. Of all Taylor reactors (I've watched like, hundreds,) you are one of the most perceptive. So please please please. You won't regret it. Folklore long pond studio sessions.
It really satisfies me to watch reactors with the same sentiment as I when it comes to dissecting Taylor's works, especially her writing, and so far I am eating all of your reactions.

This song is so complex if you have the context of her past work. She references different songs in literally each line. My favorite is "Remember looking at this room, we loved it cause of the light." She wrote a whole album about this man she's singing about called "Lover" and on the final track she compares his love to daylight- warm, comforting, soft and gentle. It just hits you right in the heart to hear that now she's sitting in the dark.

I absolutely love how closely you listen to the lyrics AND production at the same time and notice everything, you never miss any little details and are so insightful about what's happening even on the first listen. Incredible. Definitely my favorite react channel right now, keep up the amazing work!! <3

I love this song for so many reasons, especially the bridge. It's different from so many of her other breakup songs because this relationship ends because the people in it grew apart slowly over time, rather than having something sudden and catastrophic happen. I love the way that the background vocals on the line, "do something babe, say something" sound almost like shouting. It's so effective, because the lead vocals for that line just sound quieter and sadder, but in the echo you can hear so much desperation. Ugh it's just such a masterpiece.
