Damn dude. You nailed 2008! Most of these tracks I fondly remember making up that year. Indie Dance was still going strong with The Ting Tings, Kaiser Chiefs, and Hot Chip. EDM had not yet taken over, so you had great Electronic music from Moby and Goldfrapp. Beyonce was beginning her dominance of the Urban charts with 'Single Ladies.' Rock was going strong with Kings of Leon releasing the hit single "Sex on Fire" and the Killers with "Human." Madonna showed she could still make relevant club music with the global hit "Give it 2 Me" burning up the dance charts. Estelle crossing over for the Hip Hop kids featuring Kanye West on "American Boy." Then you have the unescapable Pop music of Katy Perry who was everywhere with several huge hits, one being the infectious "I Kissed a Girl." I left a few out but 12 out of 18 is decent!
