My childhood town will never be the same. It's been industrialized, and cheap housing is taking over the old farm fields. The canal that ran through the town helped fill the water table, but the city lined it with concrete, and now the water table is slowly being drained. I left at just the right time, but it is sad to see the old soul of the town get slowly evaporated with the desert heat.

this summer i was in my childhood town and walked through it all again. it's such an empty, subtle, sweet and sad feeling. you can still look at the town but you can never see it with the same perspective you had as a child. you're just a spectator now. great playlist! this is the exact feeling :)

Yours scars are the stars
On your skin
Which is as beautiful as the sky
U are so pretty
I just wanna make u mine
But I am afraid
I might cross the line
Let me fly high
In your beautiful sky
Because I just know it will be fine
These words are so little
To explain my admiration
To you your body and soul
Everything is pretty
That I fall in love every minute
Just as I truly say
As every minute pass by
I love you more

The image at 9:24 hits hard in ways i didnot expect. Long ago in times where I still had my sanity and wasn't fully self aware of an ever increasing decline into insanity I lived in a small place on a drive a few minutes of a main road. It was on a hill and we lived in a small brick house. On some spring evenings I would sit on the porch and look out to the few houses on the other side of the street. I remember beyond to the left of my view there was a corn field and in the center was the faint sight of a sign going far into the sky. I can't remember the business the sign was for but I do remember the red and green numbers. But in the end I left that place. No matter how far you come never forget who you are.

Riding bikes through the neighborhood streets knowing that all i had to worry about was to live, to explore, to learn. The alleyways where hide and go seek was played. The side walks where trick or treat on Halloween took place. But there's one thing more valuable than those times. That's your memory. Don't be sad it's gone. Be happy it happened and that you have the chance to remember it.
