Today I'm feeling autumn first time this year, which made me so calm and comfort. My favourite season, when I tend to be melancholic and I understand the value of my life. Just like the falling leaves, life is not given us for ever, and perhaps this is why it is that incredibly beautiful, no matter how amazing or horrible moment we are going through. The world around us is cold and brutal, but our warm soul can make it cozy like a hot, delicious tea sweetened with honey, drunk in bed, under a fluffy blanket. Wish you all good day and lots of hope.

when I was younger I loved the autumn, the colours and smells were amazing and my family would go hiking often. Halloween was also something I always looked forwards to. As I grew older I began to develop a strong dislike for the cold, dark isolation that often came with winter and that dread of winter began to bleed into my views of fall as well, So lately I've been trying to get myself to enjoy the unique beauty of the autumn season again without worrying about the future and I must say this playlist really did wonders. Thank you for this gift you've given us.

Nice, serene melodies. We're beginning the season that carries so many different feelings with it. It's an end to carefree summer and the prelude to chilly things to come, sort of a state of flux. Tomorrow is September 1st and this video is so appropriate now. Here in the northeast of America we see the four seasons very distinctly. Fall brings many things, including golden school buses going around gobbling up kiddies, the gorgeous colors of the foliage (gone way too soon every year, but that's what makes them so precious), the delights and thrills and treats of Halloween time, plus the yummy goodness of apple pie and pumpkin spice and savory soups; and Washington Irving's classic tale about lanky school teacher Ichabod Crane's fateful evening journey home from a party. I like the chilly mornings and the starry nights. Oh, and November has some of the most gorgeous sunsets you could ask for. It's good to celebrate autumn.

Just putting it out there for fellow poetry fans: if you like this very exact mood, you HAVE to check out Guido Gozzano's poetry. He was one of the most underrated authors of the early XX century and, I'd argue, the most prominent of the "Crepuscolari", which is a movement/current that revolves around (broadly speaking) the sense of nostalgia, of having been born a century too late, of longing for the romantic age and of awareness of the mercification of the arts. His works, to me, perfectly encapsulate that feeling of the dissolution of what society used to be and how studying and living literature only brings despair and tarnishes people who do it. Gozzano longs for a simple life in a villa in the north-western Italian countryside and often focuses on depicting the images that revolve around fall, the end-of-summer harvests and, most of all, dusk (hence the name of the current, "crepuscolo" is the Italian word for "dusk").
I don't know if his works are available in a proper English translation, but still, just wanted to spread the word. Enjoy the vibes!
