It is not an extremist stuff. In Russia exists type of jokes called “post irony”. It is some sort of sarcasm, so the “Russian forward” is not a patriotic slogan , on the contrary it is mean... that people making fun of the patriotism and propaganda. Most of the Russian memes are sarcastic, so usually they mean opposite ... if you ask why sarcasm is so popular, I think it is because of censorship.. it was layaways one of the main part of every Russian political regime, so people used to “hide” their actually thoughts between words.

Russian fan is here <3 So, the meme appeared because of the brand "Мишка" and Tessa's hair, which were in color of Imperial Russia flag. For fun russians started to call Tessa an empress. And.. thats it. No connection with politics, racism or whatever. Great interview btw <3
