I jumped in the comment section what did I see? Someone who did the joke better than me.

Ah, yes. The official abridged version for when you don't have 38 minutes to spend in heaven.

Fun and sick fact about this song: The tempo is 4/4, and there is a total of 16 beats per measure, but it's not divided 4 - 4 - 4, as you clearly can listen. It's actually 3 - 3 - 4 - 3 - 3 (that's why you hear the longer interval in the middle). And the great fact: 3 3 4 3 3 describes the pyramid sides and angles. Each side has three angles, while the bottom (who's at the middle because it's the base) has 4 sides.

This song is just an otherworldly experience man, like seeing a hurricane through your window

This whole album feels like it’s at the bottom of the ocean. Performed on the calm ocean floor with the tumultuous waves above

[Verse] I jumped in the river and what did I see? Black-eyed angels swam with me A moon full of stars and astral cars And all the figures I used to see All my lovers were there with me All my past and futures And we all went to heaven in a little row boat There was nothing to fear and nothing to doubt [Verse] I jumped into the river Black-eyed angels swam with me A moon full of stars and astral cars And all the figures I used to see All my lovers were there with me All my past and futures And we all went to heaven in a little row boat There was nothing to fear and nothing to doubt There was nothing to fear and nothing to doubt There was nothing to fear and nothing to doubt

I love how the beat sounds off until the drums come in, and then it all makes sense

I love how behind the beat the drums are... Really adds to the lilting quality.

Listening to this while reading 1984 was weirdly a great choice

It scares me to think how I'll probably listen to this and feel it even more when dying.

Such a classic, the first time I heard those notes I instantly fell in love with it. I understand why people say it’s the best song on the album (it would be my favorite if Life In a Glass House didn’t exist). It’s up there with Daydreaming and How To Disappear Completely as one of Radiohead’s most beautiful songs.
