Small fact: While one of Cao Cao’s men(Wang Bi) did persuade him on just executing Lu Bu, Liu Bei also persuaded him, Cao Cao asked for his opinion and Liu Bei just asked him that “You forgot about Ding Yuan(The first guy Lu Bu worked for, which Lu Bu eventually betrayed and killed) and Dong Zhuo?”

Some said that it's a lot to remember. But as a Chinese, I have to say, almost 70% kids like to read books about three countries and there are some TV series about this which are excellent, so many of us feel this period of history interesting, and like to talk about it. By the way, this cartoon is excellent! I have to say that it generalized that period well and basically stated every important event and they are all correct.

Can we all stop and take a second to recognize that Lu Bu really was unbeatable in head to head matchups. The only time throughout this whole history lessson that he lost was when he defeated Cao Cao’s legion while Cao cao was away, and Cao Cao only won because he returned with reinforcements to push out Lu Bu’s depleted squad. And then Lu Bu retreated back into Liu Beus enemy territory WHILE DEPLETED and completely pushed Liu out. And they ONLY defeated Lu Bu together by combining two armies together to face one STILL DEPLETED ONE! Absolute legend. You REALLY had to jump this man in order to win.
Also super hilarious that Liu Beu told cao cao not to recruit him because he would betray him. And then AS SOON AS LU BU gets eliminated, liu beu turns on him🤣

Betrayal strategy:
1. Warn the target of betrayal
2. Expect normalcy bias
3. Wait for the assassin to kill their target
4. Have at 'em!!!

I don't know if anyone noticed this but I think we got rick rolled at 0:20. 永不会放弃你 永不会放下你 roughly means "never gonna give you up, never gonna let you down".

So on how the allies fell out on who should own that territory, the simplified story is basically that Liu Bei borrowed it from Sun Quan and refused to give it back. It is so famous that there is a Chinese adages called Liu Bei borrowing Jing Zhou (the name of that piece of land) that basically means never returning what you borrowed. In Chinese it is 刘备借荆州,有借无还
