The question I have about the personality - chronotype connection is: when were the studies done? In the morning? In the evening? That, itself, would change the results. Because if you flipped it and tested people at 2 am guess who would be grumpy and whiny? Morning Larks.

I'm a morning person and get so much done right after sunrise. I create artificial deadlines in order to get chores done and am thrilled to pay monthly expenses the day the statements arrive. I also work well in competitive settings. On an aside, where did she get that shark dress? I would wear that in a heartbeat. Thanks and Happy New Year!

I am such a procrastinator. I have to make lists and take frequent breaks and I get so much flack for it, but it's the only way I get anything done. Yet it takes me "too long" for my folks' standards.

11:40 , keeping a phone number in your head Introducing: ADHD, poor working memory, we forget the start of your sentence before you're done saying it, we forget our own thoughts, we can't take notes at all. So I get a sound file/video for taking notes later, as accommodations.

Something I'd like to have explained. How on earth are people supposed to pay attention to what's said while taking notes? I'm dyslexic and I know that changes hiw this process works, but ive never understood it. I have a BA in psychology and I understand how writing out information can help the brain retain the information. But how are people able to both write out thise facts while simultaneously hearing, interpreting, paraphrasing, and then putting it down in paper. The best I could ever do was colorcode prewritten notes to highlight the points made in class. Again, I know my brain processes information differently, and being a visual thinker adds a step of translationg the words into the images that the words mean, but I don't think that accoints for the whole lag. I know I'm different, but exactly what is the difference?

Simply put, Being well at something is all a frame of mind. Simply put, don't lie to yourself. Wait! Maybe you should lie to yourself. Ah it's according to how good you are at it.

I am a night owl, severely, but my only recourse is to try and fenagle my way into a schedule that works with me, since I also have ADHD and caffeine makes me sleepy...

on the stereotype threat my dad (healthy 53) was abolutely worried about his age and how it affected his bladder and and his ability to drive (8 minute walk and 3 minute drive to the cambing bathrooms) he pissed himself just before getting to the toilet half the nights, when he came back from vacation two years later he remains healthy and has never had an accident like that before

I don't know if I'm just weird or something, but I've always been up early well into my mid twenties, now for the last couple of years I've started to sleep later.

I am ultimately a night owl but I can switch by staying up the next day and switch back on the weekend. But actually that is assuming that my surroundings cooperate. And without cooperation ,All hell will break loose. As far as notes if I take by hand I hope to never have to read them. But actually to clarify I will have to eliminate as many variables as possible.... Speaking of deep thinking . I'm a master at paraphrasing.
