How to do a proper Squat 🙌
The Squat is the king of all exercises. Many muscles work at the same time, not just your legs. Love them or hate them, squats are one of the most effective exercises you can do for your lower body. Repetitions range depending on your strength level. Start anywhere between 20-50 repetitions 3-4 sets and grow in repetitions and sets thereafter.

▫️Keep your chest up. Your spine should be in a neutral position.

▫️Stand with feet a little wider than hip width, toes facing front.

▫️Drive your hips back—bending at the knees and ankles and pressing your knees slightly open.

▫️Sit into a squat position while still keeping your heels and toes on the ground, chest up and shoulders back.

▫️Strive to eventually reach parallel, meaning knees are bent to a 90-degree angle.

▫️ Press into your heels and straighten legs to return to a standing upright position.

Key information: It’s important to start with your hips back, and not by bending your knees. Your weight is on your feet – it should be on the heels and the balls of your feet, as if they were pasted to the ground. You should be able to wiggle your toes the entire movement (though that’s not a part of squatting!).

Muscles Worked: Quads, hamstrings, glutes, abdominal, calves.

Enjoy!! 🤗
