A bit too simplistic/on the nose for me, lyrically. I’m an ADHDer too and this snippet seems more like a list of symptoms and commonly expressed experiences with familiar/tired language than it does a fresh/evocative description of a nuanced, individualized experience of ADHD that would really hit me in the way I think this is meant to. Feel like there’s a way to go about this with more subtlety and artfulness, but that’s just me. A new metaphor that nobody’s come up with yet, ya know? A new combination of words to describe this stuff? Focus a song around a specific thing that’s been forgotten by the speaker as a way of storytelling in the lyrics and to give us a specific image to picture, like, showing not telling? I’m picky tho. Great voice & hope u keep going.
