I know it’s sometimes hard to believe this, but it’s true. Take 10 minutes, or maybe even just 5 minutes, and think of things like: “I am calm, I am free from anxiety, I am in a good mood, I am safe here, I have only supportive thoughts, I don’t allow negativity in my mind.” You can also imagine your mind as a beautiful place, like a flower garden with some trees and a lake. Get creative however you want. I find this extremely calming for my anxiety and mood-lifting.
