Machang Ceylonians is a magazine type youtube channel, which means it presents an array of feature typed programs to the spectator.
The term ‘Machang Ceylonians’ is a combination of a Tamil and an English word. Ceylonians’ means the inhabitants of ‘Ceylon’, which is the term Sri Lanka was referred to during the era of British Colonization.
The aim of this channel, Machang Ceylonians is to give an enthralling experience to the spectator via an entertaining and aesthetically redefined approach to the anecdotes of personal characters, occasions, places , and activities that should have
been or should be widely debated in the contemporary society of Sri Lanka.
The term ‘Machang’ which is derived from Tamil means nephew. At present this word has been adapted as a colloquial slang by the wider population of Sri Lanka irrespective of nationality, to refer to a pal, buddy or companion.
