Drop a πŸ˜¬β€‹ if this makes you squirm in the seat.

Taking a rest is productive?!

What bogus, am I right?

Well, there is truth to it. Sometimes, when you are struggling to stay afloat, and are overwhelmed with all the potential work you need to do and everything that you need to focus on, you can get stuck in a loop of thinking, prioritizing, planning, acting on some stuff, not feeling satisfied enough, and restarting the process.

In moments like these, the best thing to do, no matter how much it hurts, is to step back and let go.

Step away from your work space and focus your energy in coming back to yourself.

If that feels too difficult, make a list of everything you need to work on, empty out your brain and write down every single thing, no matter how small or big.

And then, you take a break. You relax and reset.

You give your brain some time to readjust.

You fill your cup by taking part in rejuvenating activities.

It's a simple reboot.

But when you go back to your work, there are higher chances of you being able to look at your work from a higher perspective, prioritize better, recognize patterns on the paths you need to follow, and just act. Satisfaction be damned.

You act from a space of, I need to finish my work, and this is not the final version. I can always edit and polish this. But right now, I need to get that first draft out and get this off my to-do list.

Hope this helps! If it did, let me know in the comments below!

Experiencing high levels of stress and not sure what your next best step should be?

Here's a fun way to work your way through the stress!

- Think about your favorite character from a book/tv show. The one who always comes up with ingenious plans to some of the most difficult situations!
- Feel free to watch the show/read the book to get inspired! (It also helps provide your mind with a break).
- Think about your situation and then how your favorite character would respond to the situation! You can imagine having a chat with them to fire up your creative juices.

Give this cool trick a try and let me know if it works for you!

Here's why it works -

Building the fourth wall will help you basically remove yourself from the situation and reset while thinking of your favorite character and putting yourself out of a stressful situation!

This has worked for me a lot of times. Will it work for you? Let me know!

Drop a πŸ’œ if this resonates with you!

Drop a πŸ’œ if you are constantly out there turning your Mess into your Message!

Drop a πŸ’œ if you are working your butt off to ensure no one ever gets wounded by the same thing you did. And if they did, you are here to hold space and provide support for them.

Drop a πŸ’œ for yourself, cause you deserve it!

Or, let's be real for the next few days πŸ˜‚

But what do you do when the inconvenience happens?

You go all out and move through whatever emotions are coming up for you.

Hear me out.

If you need to scream into the pillow, do it.
If you need to swear as loudly as you can in your room, do it.
If you need to go on a run, you do it.
If you need a good cry, you cry.

Allow yourself and your emotions to show up without judging yourself and simply let it out as healthily and safely as you can.

Note that the bigger the inconvenience, or the stronger your emotional attachment to it, the longer it will take to process it.

So whenever the urge comes to let your emotions run wild, you allow it to happen.

And then once you feel like it is out of your system, even for that particular moment, you do this -

- You give yourself grace,
- You give yourself some extra loving, - And then when you feel that it is alright to do so, you logically process the situation and come up with the best solution for the immediate future.

The reason why I am sharing this with you today is because a lot of times we either brush aside our emotions, ignore them, or let them out in a process that can be unhealthy and harmful.

This can lead to added stress that can lead to emotional turmoil. Both these situations feed each other, creating the perfect torture device for you.

So, the next time something like this happens, you know what to do!

Let me know in the comments if this makes sense, and if it helps you.

I am also available to answer any questions you might have about things that are currently stressing you out, so leave them in the comments with the line - 'My question is -', and I will respond to it in my next reels/videos!

Happy to help!

Drop a πŸ’œ if you resonate with this!

Here's the thing - It has always been an inside out journey.

We have the power to choose if external situations mould us or break us.

And we have the power to choose how we shift and change our environment!

And that power originates from within! So does the choice to embodying it!!

Are you going to tap into it?

---

I know a few of you are wondering, 'Sounds inspiring Madhurima, but how is this related to stress?'

Another huge truth - How we respond to external stressors also depends on your internal stability.

So start within! πŸ’œπŸ’œπŸ’œ
