Hey everyone, check out this gorgeous acrylic painting I finished this afternoon! It's a whopping 12x36 inches and was inspired by this amazing photo my friend sent me from a candy shop in California. I am a Suburban Homesteader in the Northeast corner of Wyoming for half the year and in Arizona the other 6 months. My home, Apple Cottage, has gardens, chickens, bees, berries, brambles, vines and shrubs, birds and wildlife. Most of our landscape is edible, beautiful, or nitrogen fixing. Our cottage is filled with baking, canning, preserving, sewing, painting, and books. Our home has evolved over the last 19 years into a peaceful, self-sustaining property in Wyoming, with our goal to do the same in Arizona.
