Hope you're all hanging in there this week!
I wanted to pass along these videos, resulting from my recent conversation with The Law Offices of Vincent P. White. If you are new to this fight, and are looking for valuable resources, you should def check out Vincent's channel. He's a rare attorney who answers employment law questions on YouTube... for free. I've learned a lot watching him.

FYI... This is the collab I was so upset about in my recent "PTSD from Meetings" video. I'm astounded that even though I felt so triggered, the video came out ok... except for the nervous giggling. I guess sometimes we have to push through the scary stuff... no matter how we feel.

Have a great week & see you soon!

Hi guys! A couple of quick things this week...
I'm posting a link to this week's video here, on the Community tab. Some of you probably missed this one because I accidentally put it up last night instead of on schedule today. https://youtu.be/EjKuU-8QT24?si=ZQBOj...
I also wanted to let you know that this morning I learned I have a torn retina. I feel fine, no pain... but my vision is cloudy, so my doctors are insisting that Doug drive me to Chicago immediately for an emergency surgery. It's an easy surgery, but recovery could take a couple of weeks, so I may not be able to put up my usual videos. If I can't make videos, I'll at least try to post here to let you all know how I'm doing and stay in touch.
I hate to be away during the holidays, because I know it's a tough time for all of you... but we gotta do what we gotta do!
Happy Holidays! And hang in!
Lisa
Meet Courtney Robinson, a member of our community who fought the VA, won a huge judgement at EEOC and still can't get VA to pay her. But she's not giving up! Please watch the video and encourage Justin, the reporter who put this together, to KEEP THE PRESSURE ON. Time to stand up for one of our own! We'll do the same for all of you when the time comes.

I won my federal sector disability discrimination claim against NASA, and EEOC awarded me max damages. Most employees settle. That requires them to sign Nondisclosure Agreements, which keeps them silent. I didn't settle. I won, so I still own my story. I hope sharing my perspective will open a dialogue about workplace discrimination that's long overdue.
I still love the work NASA does. When I was there, I was an advocate for institutional learning. This is a continuation of that work. My videos are distilled "lessons learned at NASA" (and EEOC) presented as short practical tips that I hope may help other workers.
Because workers deserve better than we're getting.
I'm not an attorney, so don't take anything I say as legal advice. Also, I try to be truthful, but the stories I share here should be considered "allegedly." They are my perspective and opinions and are biased toward workers. My former employer's perspective on the facts may be different.
