DOVE SHACK shares all the endearing moments of MYRTLE (our rescued DOVE) going from a little nestling to a beautiful bird of flight. As of May 2022, DOVEY LOVEY has joined our family (another rescued DOVE raised a few hours from us). These 2 white-winged doves bring us so much joy.
MYRTLE'S STORY: This baby dove was found in our backyard under a Crepe Myrtle tree on 8/18/2021, barely a week old. We watched from the window all day & into the night for mama to return, but she never came. After seeing her barely moving, we decided to help her out. Brought her inside, made her a warm bed & fed her around the clock. Gave her lots of love & now we're blessed with this amazing, feathered family member (who thinks our 2 little dogs are her siblings). Hope you enjoy!
