This speed squat training session was aimed at trying to blast each rep as fast as possible out of the bottom position. But without tiring out the nervous system too much. That means once "grinding" starts, its time to stop the workout. This happened on set 6. I timed the reps and the average concentric was 1.1 seconds for the first 5 sets. And it was 1.8 seconds on the final rep of set 6. That is a slowdown that you can "feel". And when it's no longer fast, it's time to stop for the day. watch video on watch page

The usual boring but effective training. I think a big part of coaching is motivation and educating people so they do the boring stuff that gets results. Instead of the "entertaining" nonsense that is most of socal media...
Clean pulls 150kg 6 sets x 3 reps
Barbell lunge 80kg 5 sets x 3 reps.
One hand farmer walks for the "core"...(4 letter word!!) 40m x 6 sets
Thanks to my son who is the action video cameraman.
