Although a dedicated workout has many benefits, if you are relying solely on that session to help you reach fat loss goals, it won't be enough. It is the activity you do all throughout your day that will determine your overall calorie output. If you are serious about getting results tracking your activity will definitely help. Get yourself some sort of tracking advice to see what your baseline is. You don't have to use it forever, but even tracking for a week will show you where you tend to be the most sedentary

Colleen! Your LINDA ACTIVE custom workout is ready! Join me for this 20 minute Pilates fusion workout using light weights, resistance band, Pilates ball, and a chair.
As requested we’ll start with around 6 minutes of swan arm variations to burn out the arms and shoulders, then flow into side-lying moves for thighs, glutes & obliques with the ball and loop. Finish strong with a longer pretzel sequence using the chair and loop for perfect alignment. The pretzel series will engage the core too. It's a burner!!

First of all, if you are constantly looking at your watch while you are working out, or can't wait for an exercise to be over, then perhaps you are doing the wrong kind of workouts.
Yes, workouts that have a 'dread factor' are effective, but mentally they take their toll!
Give yourself permission to enjoy your workouts. If you find a style of workout you really enjoy and then really focus on the quality of each rep, that's when you will start getting results. Consistency and proper form will get you a lot further than inconsistent super intense workouts!

Maybe you have never had anyone believe in you - really believe that you can achieve your goals. So you have developed a mindset of self-doubt and self-sabotage. You don't even want to set a goal or try something new because you have made up your mind that you will fail. You have a 50/50 chance of being right. Yes, you may fail, but maybe you won't. Why not take the risk and stop the endless cycle of shrinking away from what you really want?

If you think you can't you're right and if you think you can you're right. Up to you what you choose to believe about yourself!
