Hi!! Just a little reminder in case you need itđŸ€

The more you choose to focus on yourself, the more your mind and body feel valued and cared for.
and they’ll naturally respond by supporting you too â˜ș

Take time to connect with yourself, because you truly deserve itđŸŒŒ

I hope you're having a lovely day!â˜ș

but, if you’re not really feeling your best, maybe tired, unmotivated, anxious, or irritated...

first, know that you’re not alone.

And second, you do not have to blame yourself for feeling this way.
Often, it’s simply your nervous system asking for some care.

Not only social media, but also things like busy workdays, poor sleep, or even seasonal changes can leave your nervous system overworked without you realizing it.

So here are a few ideas to help you reset and rechargeđŸ€
I hope they help!

“Does Pilates help you lose weight?”

“How is it different from yoga or strength training?”

Let’s start with the first one: Pilates isn’t a cardio workout, so it won’t directly burn fat.
But, it helps build a body that’s more likely to lose weight.

When I took my Stott Pilates certification, I learned that Pilates is a practice where we learn how to bring the body closer to its neutral alignment through spinal movement and core activation.

It takes time, but with consistency, you’ll start to feel real changes - like better posture, more control, and a leaner look. So even if it’s not a fat-burning workout, many people still feel their body shape shift through Pilates.

That said, there’s no “perfect” workout.
Pilates, yoga, strength training, cardio - they all offer different benefits.
(I’ve added a simple comparison in the image!)

Personally, I see Pilates as a great foundation. It helps you move with control and awareness.
But I also encourage you to explore what works for your body and mindđŸŒ±

That’s why I got my RYT200 yoga certification, train regularly for strength, and study Barre cardio. I blend all of these into some of my classes, so you get a bit of everything.

Movement is about so much more than weight loss or body shape.
It’s about feeling safe, connected, and strong in your body and your lifeđŸ€

I hope you welcome movement into your routine not just for how you look, but for how you feel.
Not for others, but for yourself.

I’m still learning every day, and I’ll keep doing my best to turn that learning into classes with real value😊
If you’ve ever joined one, thank you so much from bottom of my heart!
Have a beautiful rest of your dayđŸŒŒ
