Hello and welcome! I’m Ian Jukes, a seasoned English street photographer residing in Kaohsiung, Taiwan. My journey with the camera started years ago in the heart of the Black Country, Tipton. What began as an interest transformed into a deep passion and a career that took me to the vibrant and bustling streets of Taiwan.
My love for photography is complemented by my formal education in Visual Communication – Photography
Influenced by the legends of photography like Steve McCurry, Bill Brandt, Martin Parr, and Phil Penman, I strive to capture the ordinary and transform it into extraordinary visual tales. The bustling streets of Taiwan, its people, and the unique blend of tradition and modernity offer inspiration for my work.
But what truly sets me apart is my desire to share my knowledge and experience with others. I teach street photography and post-processing techniques, hoping to inspire and equip future photographers with the skills they need.
