I am Charlotte Bowyer, a historian of the âexploring side streetsâ and âforgotten buildingsâ variety. Join me, as I spend my weekends (and most of my paycheque) exposing the remarkable history of South-Western England. My interests range from Roman Britain to Shakespeare, but my speciality is medieval studies: specifically, the history and language of the Anglo-Saxons.
