For those thinking 10 lbs isnβt much in 8 weeks, consider the big picture. Thereβs 52 weeks in a year. 52x 1lbs a week thatβs 52lbs down for the year. #thinkBig
Remember to be realistic: If we aim too high too fast, the result is frustration and burnout. Instead, make one small improvements at a time, focusing on eating well, or walking an extra 10 minutes a day. Aim to incorporate small changes into your everyday routine.

I didnβt lose any weight this week. Iβm gonna quit! All this work and the scale not moving #fcukit According to the scale I gained 3lbs. Better if just give up. This sh!t sucksβοΈ
This is how many of us think like this when the scale isnβt going in the direction we like it. Or not showing numbers we want to see fast enough. REMEMBER THIS βοΈ #fuckthescale the scale doesnβt show you the entire picture. Just throw it in the garbage. This is one of the reasons I hate weighing in weekly. Pics and measuring and how my clothes fit is my thing for measuring progress.
A lot of things can contribute to weight gain and Iβm gonna tell you if youβre doing all the right things the formula works.
Instead of focusing on the scale think about the fact your body is hard at work and as it builds muscle (especially when doing resistance training) the muscle is being built and during that process those micro tears create inflammation which leads to water weight due to glycogen. The next to look at is it that time of month or about to beπ΄. Often days leading to menustration or during we gain water weight.
The last thing you look at is if you doing everything right and itβs not that time of month, do self assessment: check your plate, check your stress, check your sleep. Because the formula works. But most importantly donβt quit. Itβs a long game. Changes are happening in your body and most of them are unseen.
Exercise , water, rest and good nutrition is the key to wellness. Theyβre so many benefits besides weight loss donβt let that be the only determining factor to why you exercise. If youβre new to fitness and weight loss is your goal any weight gain can be discouraging and might even make you want to quit your healthy eating and exercise plan. But donβt.
