I call these techniques Jimi'isms. I work on getting the Jimi tone by using a smaller amp, the Tweed Bassman, which is the big brother of the very first Marshall amp. Lately, I have been focusing on Jimi's effects pedal and demo fuzzes, Uni-Vibe clones, Echoplexes, wah-wahs and Leslies.
