There's still so many misconceptions out there about boundaries. Personally, I define them as your personal rules of engagement. They're what is okay with you, and what is not okay with you. They're internal and are about US, not other people.

If you're a high-functioning codependent who feels like they need to DO for others to "earn their place" or "earn love," I want to invite you to think differently. Your presence and your ability to be present with someone IS a gift in and of itself. ❤️ We don't need to save or rescue people to be loved.
