I’m a disabled police officer and haven’t paid taxes in the last 5 years due to my low income. (FYI. I did get a really nice tax free police disability settlement ) Yesterday, I filed my taxes and owed $150.00. I asked the preparer why I owe money this year. She told me there are new tax stipulations. Angry Cop mode kicked in and I asked her specifically why I owed $150. She said that since I had an IRA, I was taxed. I told her that I did not have any capital Gains nor did I take out taxable income. She told me that since I had an IRA, I had financial responsibility. WTF…. I really think that people who have IRA’s, 401Ks, or any alternate retirement funds will eventually be disqualified from Social Security because of being financially responsible. Mercia 🇺🇸

The cinnamon roll lady is right up there with the lemon tree lady. The one that bought lemons because she thought that "something had to be done to the lemons" after they came off the tree. That's why she couldn't use the ones growing in her backyard.

Pen: My job required me to use a pen & clipbord continuously. I bought a Dr.Grip & refills. Used the same pen for YEARS. Second shift guy left our offuce door & desk unlocked. Pen gone. Stuck around a few minutes to observe a second shift line leader using my pen. Told him it was nice & asked where he got it. Couldn't remember, but it wasn't expensive. I said I know. Grabbed it, unscrewed it, & showed him my initials (not his) written 3 times around the inside above the threads.
