This is proof why big studios don't need to exist. Give money to passionate projects being pursued by passionate people. Thanks to A24 for that

Crazy how the directors first began creating videos about a psychotic fast food mascot into creating actual Hollywood films!

my favorite part of the movie was the montage of all the teens eagerly taking turns playing with the hand like some hedonistic game. the thrill the characters experience conveys that the state of being possessed through this ritual is almost euphoric, like a drug. i thought that was an insanely creative approach.

A24 just keeps killing it. They create the best horror movies of all time. Would love to see Jordan Peele work with them on a project.

So proud of Danny and Michael. Rackaracka was one of the first channels I ever subscribed to on Youtube. To see them direct a critically acclaimed movie is unreal.

It’s great to see Jeremy talk about a movie he’s excited to talk about

Damn that quote from Jeremy about believing this movie was created by a season horror director must have meant a lot to Danny and Michael. That’s is a fantastic compliment

The anxiety!!! Oh man, the anxiety! I typically don't get scared when watching supernatural horrors but this movie seemed to know that and just dialed the tension and suspense up to 1000. You kept waiting for everything to go wrong and when it did, it was worse than you thought it would be. It wasn't even scary in a traditional sense (no jump scares or anything like that) but it was very very panic inducing. 10/10 film.

Gotta love it when creators get the chance to use their skills on bigger projects and succeed.

"Don't fuck around with ghosts they can be dicks" needs to be the tag line for this movie

I went to film school with these guys but I had no idea they directed this until you said it now. Thought the trailer looked great, had no idea it was them until my favourite film critic released a glowing review. Today was a good day. For what it's worth, I don't know anyone more deserving of a big break in the film industry than the twins, if they're reading this, my sincerest congratulations, gentlemen. Will have to go see this.

Honestly it feels great when watching it at 1:36am, alone in a room with a broken window glass panel, and open doors. Loved it btw! The ending was amazing. It's the first horror movie I've ever watched that kept me on the edge of the seat. I wasn't scared, but it did really have scary elements. 9/10 for me

With the state of Hollywood right now, this is a great win for not just YouTubers trying to make it into the film industry but for actors and aspiring directors around the world who now could possibly have another way to make it without these bigger studios

Woah, when was the last time Jeremy gave a horror movie this rating? I fully agree too! I can't remember the last time I enjoyed a movie, much less a horror movie this much. 9/10

This is one of the most disturbing horror film I’ve seen in a long time. We need more good horror like this. I didn’t take it seriously at first but it takes control of the time it has and doesn’t let up until the credits roll. Highly recommend.

As an Aussie it's so cool seeing these blokes get praised and love for this. They've come so far from doing YouTube videos in Adelaide. I saw them do an interview the other weeks here in Australia & they're so crazy & loud just like their old videos I would love to see how they direct 😂 Didn't know Wentworth tv show was available for America so that's cool. Very known & iconic show in Australia.

Saw it the other day.Raved about it to my friends.Similar to It Follows in terms of the horror angle. The points Jeremy makes in his review are on the money. He picked up on Miranda Ottos ""mum"" moment that is genuinely funny and the ""gross out moments"" in the movie are along the lines of the head out the car window scene from Hereditary.Highly recommend
