If they’re gonna make movies of Stephen King shorts, why not do an anthology with multiple stories?

Director: “Great job Vivian. What did you think of to get you so terrified?” Vivian Lyra Blair: “I thought about doing Obi-Wan season 2”

1:05 "This is creepy, im in" Jeremy gives the vibe of the neighbour's kid in adult form and I respect that

You can do a dark scene right. The movie with the blind dude nailed it.

What I really liked in the film is that there were no cheap scares. Every scare was meaningful and genuinely scary. There wasn’t jump scare for the sake of jump scare. The characters are great as is the acting… and Im not sure how the fact that you can’t see what’s chasing them is a negative? I could see they were running from something but I couldn’t see what and tbh I never wanted to. Imagination is scarier than whatever the thing was. Anyway, really enjoyed it. Better than Smile

Jeremy's reviews for bad movies is the reason why I subscribed in the first place

I love how expressive your thumbnails are. Like they’re not crazily edited or weird-looking - it’s just you exuding how you feel about each piece of content, and us absolutely understanding that the moment we see it!

I may be in the minority here but I really enjoyed this. I thought it was actually solidly scary thanks to, yes, the sound design and most especially the acting. Little Princess Leia, in particular, really, really sells the horror. I didn't really have much trouble with the final act either as the rest of the film managed to get its hooks into me. That said, you really don't want to think about the movie too much - the plot holes are not insignificant.

I KNEW this movie was NOTHING like the short story!! I’ve read the story so many times and it’s frustrating that this clearly a loose adaption. Thank you Jeremy for proving what I was worried about with this movie.

i really enjoyed this movie personally. i loved all the call backs i made in my head to things like Annihilation, Dead Space, Silent Hill, Resident Evil, and Stranger Things! The monster to me was super cool and definitely not what i expected!

Jeremy, I just wanna say that I enjoy listening to your reviews. I appreciate your honest opinion. You don’t pander to anyone and you’re just also entertaining to listen to. Good review here. Too bad the movie cannot make up its mind on what kind of horror film it wants to be.

I think the movie is 💯 percent a great movie it was more physiological then horror it was about letting go of disturbing issues in your past or mentally you can destroy your family and yourself, it was ment to CLOSE THE DOOR TO YOUR PAST Instead of leaving things unfinished

I read this when I was a kid in the '70s. Great short story, but I've got some problems with the adaptation. First off, when the older daughter thought she saw blood coming from the closet, I don't care if you're a linebacker on the H.S. football team, you'd scream for your dad, not quietly investigate with a pen knife. Second, when the youngest's ones closet door bursts open, I screamed and she didn't? C'mon, this kid saw it move under her bed and still no scream? That's more unbelievable than the damn monster! 😂

I expected nothing from it. The fact that I enjoyed 60-70% of it left me satisfied.

To answer Jeremy’s question: Us. Us started out very tense and had great pacing and acting. However, once the “tethered” showed up, it completely fell apart. Nothing made sense, it was dumb, and worst of all, it wasn’t scary. And don’t tell me that the symbolism behind it is what made it good. I went into a horror movie wanting to be scared and it failed at that. Get Out and Hereditary both scared the shit out of me, and their symbolism was great, and perfectly balanced with the horror
