I've been using the flame thrower to charge up the flare as it tiks so much, has a short cast time, small stamina cost & finishes fast enough you can either get some staff spam in or move out of attacks.

That double flare sounds great for boss fights... But i use spellstore to store thundermine when im in between fights. High thundermine stopped groups of enemies from getting near you and pushes nearby enemies away and it knocks groups of harpies out of the sky and interrupts their song. Being able to instacast that even if you get surprised attacked will instantly give you complete control of the battle.
Then you can store flare while thoundermine is still CCing the enemy group, then recast thundermine to start it over, then unleash the double flair on the tankiest enemy...
Tho, there might not be any point of even using a single flare on most normal enemies. They tend to get killed before the explosion.
But storing thundermine is still my go to opener in any situation.

Well damn I guess this is my go to when I get the game happy sorcerer still op as ever was my favorite vocation in first game just spamming holy boon and focused bolt and maelstorm with the items that increase your magic pop four of those and melts so much health

Rage can you do a video on boss weaknesses and most effective skills, vocations and weak spots, elements to use against each boss I never played the first one so still getting use to the boss attacks and what to use against them.

Since its not a Master Spell, you can use it as a Warfarer. Then swap to your Daggers and throw 50 Hits in with Skullsplitter.
