Nike was on life support before Jordan decided to pick them. You should ask yoursel Shannon, who is Nike without Jordan? Not the other way around.

With all the evolution of the modern-day NBA player with trainers, advanced medicine, sports science, analytics, nutrition, salaries etc. and they're still complaining about having to play 65 games 😑

I never got the shoe comments. Other basketball players had shoe deals before Jordan with brands known for basketball shoes. Jordan takes a brand not known for basketball shoes to being the brand for shoes based on his play and popularity in the sport. Shannon out here making it seem like the shoe made Mike when it is the opposite.

Scottie's an example of why it's important to remain quiet and calm until you can figure stuff out. He IMO needs a therapist to sort through some things. Also, Gil's wrong about Grant. Grant started getting REAL salty in the early 90s when his brother Harvey started scoring a bunch of points, albeit on a bad team. He thought with Chicago he'd never get a chance to 'shine' like his brother did with Jordan there. And when he left he was a free-agent, it wasn't a trade.

In terms of shooting, yall left out that analytics play a huge part in today's game. They shoot way more 3s in today's game than back in the day. Players have way more freedom nowadays where back in the day you had to play in a system. Coaches had way more power back then.

Gilbert was using John Stockton as an example of how the game evolved and he said when he came into the league at 2001 and faced Stockton, John couldn’t stay in front of him. Should I remind Gilbert that at 2001, he was a 19 yr old rookie while John Stockton was a 39 yr old veteran who was into his 18th season in the league. Arenas is not too smart for telling everyone he smoked John Stockton, as if that is due to the evolution of the players from a younger generation, but rather it was simply a case of a 19 yr old rookie being more physically capable than a 39 yr old vet, who is nearing the end of his career.

I'm so tired of the players are more skilled argument. What receiver is cooking Prime, what LB is shutting down Barry Sanders, what OL is stopping Reggie White. They only bring up this for NBA players. They never disrespect former NFL, MLB players. Players like Jokic and Luka disprove this theory every time they light up today's most skilled. Luka is no more athletic than Bird...but he cooks today's "most skilled" era. I wanna hear Shannon say. Prime would get cooked by Tyreke...I bet he wont

You're wrong Unc. The players of the past are not resentful of the power that the current players have. They are resentful because the current players turn around and claim that they are better than the players of the past, without factoring in the advantages they have that the players of the past didn't have. Imagine if free agency existed when Oscar Robertson and Wilt Chamberlain played. They probably wouldn't have been stuck on bad teams losing to the Celtics superteam year after year.

People say a lot of negative about MJ but you see a lot of stuff he does that makes him seem deep down a good guy. After Luc didn’t make the cut in the last dance doc MJ participated in a doc done on Luc and sat down for a 30 minute or so interview on Luc and said some really kind things about him that at the time seemed to mean a lot to Luc. If MJ was the menace some want to portray he didn’t have to do that for Luc but he cared enough to take the time to do it because he genuinely did care about the dude.

In 1991, none of the Bulls' players were former Pistons' players as Isaiah lied about. Once again, Gilly didn't fake facts check. OMG
